Product Information The Rena Smart Heater is a completely new electronic heater from Rena. Uniquely, it has a thermic alert. This moniters the water temperature and cauases a built in LED to flash in the event of the temperature being 3C or more from the level set on the thermostat. A second unique feature is that it is hollow, so external intake pipes can be fixed through it. This feature reduces the occurence of hot and cold spots around the aquarium. The temperature can be set from 20C upto 34C for fish that prefer higher temperatures such as Discus. A great safety feature is that even the largest model does not get really how when switched on so its is unlikely to be cracked accidentally. Unlike some heaters the Rena Smart Heater is supplied with substantial suction cups and a sturdy bracket. Comes in 50-300W sizes and is suitable for both Freshwater and Marine use.
